Done this a few weeks ago on my wife, she was really happy with it but i thought their was a lot of room for improvement.
Used a 3rl and 5m1 with nedz vivid ink greywash.

It's difficult to tell as its a poor quality picture. From what little I can see it looks good. Can you get a clearer picture?

You've nailed the overall form and the hair seems to flow, though for a 3rl the lines look heavy, suggesting the needles penetrating too much. This injects too much ink and if it hits below the dermis it effectively flows / spreads.

The grey wash is a bit tentative and (I believe) if you went back in with a strong black, particularly in the hair you could really lift the whole piece. This is about achieving a wider tonal or value range - deep black to flesh / white. Identify the darkest areas and hit with black, creating more contrast.

Just like whippet said it needs more contrast. Don't be afraid to put that black in there.

Thanks guys, i think I did go in a bit too deep in places as it was around the time I started to work from the tip of the needle instead of riding the tube but some of the lines I built up.

With regards to going darker, its more of a confidence thing that im slowly working on.
I would love to go back and completely rework it but my wife is happy with it.

The next b and g piece I do, gonna take your advice and go darker... What's the worst that can happen What a Face

I really struggle using a 3rl, not so bad on 5rl but a lot better using a 7rl so I will try and stick to that. Every little shake shows on a 3rl lol.
The design was something my wife pulled off google
