Looks a decent solid tattoo, should heal up good,, looks like you you had to go over some of the outline more than once, making the lines a bit inconsistent.

I was able to get most of the rose single pass. The lady I was working on kept jumping. She was happy with the end result. She lives in my building so in a few weeks I'll post the healed pictures.

Looking nice and a good example of where / when to use white to pull a design out. I can see a bit of sculpting on the petal lining (as Demerit pointed out) but its minimal and doesn't detract on an organic piece like a flower. Good job!

I used a 9cm bugpin for all the shading and a 5rs for the lines on the rose and a 7rl bugpin for the cross. The white highlights were done with a 5rs

I wasn't referring to the edge of the rose,, that is fine,, I was referring the the edge of the cross, so please don't use what I say as reference when you don't know what I was meaning.

I think bugpins cause less trauma. When you went to the work shop did they talk about financing? I'm sure they try to work with you because 6000 is a lot of money to just put out there if you ain't hustling.
