Numbing Agents... Empty Numbing Agents...

Hi all - I don't remember numbing agents - does anyone use them and if so what? and how does it effect the skin? thanks!

I have used EMLA to get tattooed with when doing my ribs. It works for maybe 40 minutes to an hour for me although I have heard claims of 2 hours but think you would have to bath in the stuff to get that. As for the skin in goes a little puffy and red but never had any issues with it being tattooed for me. My daughter numbed her wrist when I tattooed it and like I say it was a little red and puffy pre tattooing but no adverse effects for the actual tattooing process.

i try not to use them because they are a pain in the ass , they take a long time to take effect , and they do wear off pretty quick , i know zombie used to use one that you can keep applying as your working but i think its only available to buy over the pond
