nice, i have some questions if you don't mind, being a recent wacom user myself,

1. the first two you draw and mirror, right? and the third you draw 1/6th and use some type of circular copy polar array tool, and then wipe out the upper left portion, right? but looking closer, i see perfect symettry even inside mirrorred portions, so you are mirroring within mirroring as you work, every step of the way
2. the last bird, are you shading it all by hand/pressure?
4. are you simultaneously also using other pen, line, shape tools alongside the wacom or is it all by hand on the wacom?

basically yes kk the paint symmetry tool will let you split the page into any thing from 2 - 16 sections , you can draw in any of those sections it will mirror what you draw , you can either use rotational symmetry or mirrored symmetry , so even if you draw inside a small section the program will mirror it perfectly

the bird was done with a tech pen and an airbrush , you dont have to worry too much about hand pressure i just adjust the flow rate of the airbrush its easier for me

no its all done on the wacom , sometimes i will draw a basic sketch then load it into the wacom and just tidy it up but these ones are all wacom work , but this is why i like it its a lot more hands on than some other art programs , im still drawing it just not on paper so im saving tress at the same time lol

thank you tyler and head

much appreciated lou,
i gotta get around to downloading and trying the software package (artrage?) included with the wacom also. not just doddle on photoshop.

i'm actually surprised at how difficult or sophisticated it is to use, with all the buttons, and such. and really comprhensive drivers, its really a lot. just need to sit down and really learn all its functions and use one day.

nice work Lou... I've been using Procreate on the ipad pro for a while now and i love it...i think digital art is the way forward for tattoo design, so easy to work layers, change things and (as you nicely demonstrated) can create perfect symmetry in designs

Yeah I really like it, saying that though I don't really have anything to compare it to, I've done some stuff on photoshop before but only logo designs and stuff like that... Have you seen https://www.tattoosmart.com/ I'm tempted to try their tattoo needle brush sets

Just messaged you mate.. It's easy enough to download but time consuming cos you've gotta do each brush separately.

What size screens are you using on your Wacoms, does artrage come with all the Wacoms, I am looking at the Intuos Art Pen & Touch 10" Graphics Tablet and the Intuos Pro Medium PTH-651-ENES Graphics Table, are there anymore I should consider, digital art is totally new to me but I want to be able to edit and create new designs from an old template if you understand what I mean.
