Banana to jack converter im building.

Post by No Quater on Mon Aug 15, 2016 9:59 pm

I know a lot of people that use a lab supply or have one as back up like myself but cant get any quality cords and pedals for it so i started building this. It is converter for banana plug to mono jacks for your pedal and clip cord.
Also i build in a on of switch to override the pedal.

Everything worked perfect after the first test.

It is al gonna be put in the smalest guitar stomp box enclosure i could find.
I already drilled and put the first layer of paint on.

On my lab power supply I drilled the case and fitted a 6mm socket in the side and replaced the 2.5mm on the front (footswitch) for a 6mm just to keep things tidy, I still have the banana connectors but dont use them.

Banana connector, sounds interesting must be a power supply connection that needs to be bypassed ASAP.

talking about how the wires are joined, crimp, solder, twist

the kid would solder, ......or crimp
