printer problems

i have an office jet 6000 laser colour copier printer scanner and its a fucking headache 45 quid a time to refill the ink and these printers are designed to burn colour ink even if your not printing in colour which pisses me off so last week i brought my self a mono printer and its the best thing i have brought since i started tattooing

the toner cartridge is 20 quid for 7000 prints or the drum i think is 50 thats for something like 25,000 prints the actual printer was 35 so if you have printer headaches treat your self to a mono printer they are well worth the money

if you search it on ebay you will get it new for half that price

Thanks for sharing lou, I am getting through loads of colour ink even thou all my printing is in black, will deffo invest in one of them

i just bought a dell laser color for $70. some kind of office penci neck geek special. i have yet to see how far the ink goes, ints funny how ints some sort of ink/toner hybrid, i will be pissed if it does not print a lot for the money. the quality is the best i've personally used, but again, i will find out soon if i will be having to purchase ink, which i should not if its real lasser.

the saleman insisted it was color laser but it look like it takes ink refills idk. at least i got a killer deeal.

i have a older mono laser samsung that i have printed the shit out of and onyl needed a $40 replacement toner (non original). i use that to print documents and entire pdfs books. i found it it to be most quantitty for your money, as long as you don't need color.

99% of my printing is black and white or grey scale so this is perfect for me and cheap to run

but again, you want a mono laser that takes toner, shitload of paper

not black ink. few pages and its time to spend $40

ink is so damn expensive and i've never successfully refilled an ink cartridge with those cheap ink refils bottles. altho the knockof cartridges work some of the time.

there is a canon printer i bought my gf for $30 which is chaeper than the cost of the ink.(walmart)
