Freehand Tahiti

One hour of drawing, and three and a half tattooing, it was a long night after doing two others.
This was my first take on this style, but I think it came out well - but I actually dont know if I broke any rules og the Tahiti style.

well the shading on the herringbone is wrong all wrong and i ruins it for me i hope you can fix it , yup you broke a rule , you didnt do your research and it shows i think,, yes it very impressive that you drew that on his leg but then you fucked it on the shading shame really

Was it technicly wise og how?
And also, how does it show, what are you seeing?

compared to your other work your shading looks really rough , which is a shame because i personally love herringbone , i think if its shaded right it can look stunning and it gives flow because of the shading , but the shading should start at the center ill try and find a pic to show you

Still I wonder what you see, when you say it tells, that I did no research, though I did look at other tattooes, and the different shapes like the herringboneshapes i used.

It comes from the inside, and with a highlight yes, it looks really cool.
Would not say that I ruined mine, but I see what you mean, and it gave me an idéa of how to make it come more to life I think.

the shading looks rough to me as well & your line work is not the best....you are still biting off more then you can chew....you should down size your tattoos so you can execute them 100%

Maybe if you took more time with it.. the linework and the shading would be cleaner... i mean 3 hours tattooing looks enough considering what it is... but it does look rushed... especially on the gap beetween the short lines ... those that goes vertically.. theyr not paralel and the gap is not constant And before anyone jumps in my head im not saying i wouldve done a better job im just saying what i see !!

it looks like a feat but once you have the stencil/design, its just all connect the dots, with a short line, all in range of single wrist motion. which means lines should look perfect. i'dhave used thicker needle.

i'm staring at these lines for like 5 min and something dont seem right, like its raised, put in not deep enough. i'm trying to think, when have i seen lines like that... just been so long for the kid... not swelling looks like ink sitting closer to surface, ready to scab and fall off. not even hatin on rohr. just looking at those lines... allegic reac? think KK think! are those lines proper? yeah i think they 'll heal fine... hard to say, stop looking at them. stop.
