Needle retainers

Post by Mr.Martian on Sun Sep 25, 2016 12:05 pm

Hey there all!
So, I've been trying out my new rotary, only used coils before. I love it. Taking me some getting used to as it doesn't have the 'bounce' of a coil (does that make sense,,? with a coil i float as i line with this i seem to push a bit,,) . But the more-volts-more-speed thing is totally intuitive. One (probably stupid) question for today: If using a needle retainer, do you still need to bend the needle...? cheers

Cheers for that. Yea, I thought it looked like it is staying at the back of the tip without a bend but getting more dodgy lines than i do with my coil. I think it's a combination of me still being pretty crap and getting used to the rotary. I'm gonna give it a little bend too. ta
