tattooing scar tissue

i have been working on a young lady for a few months now , she has a burn scar basically all over the right side of her body from neck to waist , very think heavy scarring , this scar is a huge issure to a pretty young girl as you can imagine but when where talking about what we could could possibly do on this scar tissue i said that maybe dot work would be a good idea

so we agreed that we do a little bit of dot work and see how it healed , the effect of the tattoo on scar and go from there , now i done a few sittings and as we are getting more of it covered im noticing obviously the psychological effects , but im starting to notice a difference in the scarring , when it heals a lot of the scar is much smoother than it was before
has anyone else had any experiance with this ?

There is a technique for softening up scar tissue wth a tattoo machine, its calked micro needling,

well yeah i had heard of it thats why i suggested dot work but i was pretty shocked by the results , we did take pictures of the scar before we started im hoping she will let me show the comparison when its finished
