Done this swallow the other day, I know the the line work isn't the best but iv still got a very long way to go.

Thought I'd upload it to "break the silence" lol. Any feedback welcome.

You see the bad points of it which is good because if you can see them then you'll improve,,,,its not perfect but I've seen a lot,lot worse,,,, keep at it,,u think you have potential....

I think I could of done better with the line work tbh, I need to learn to slow down on the lines and take my time.

Some bad lines but you also have some good lines, Im struggling with lining myself so I'm in no position to offer advice lol

working slow on lines is not always the best way as you will get more pronounced wobbles if your hand isn't too steady, of course fine detail usually requires a slower hand but on longer lines its easier to work faster,, your machine speed needs to match your hand speed otherwise you will end up going too deep or not deep enough,,,,,, try lining a little faster than you're normally comfortable with and you will see an improvement..

how big is the tattoo? 2 inches seems ideal. and well done
4 inches and its not the greatest, bit sloppy,smallerr the better for this one

6 inches is enough for most chicks as long as you have girth, I think. and technique.

yeah sometimes you need to run your hand a bit quicker tyler to stop those wobbles , the shading could do with being darker for a traditional design , you want it jet black and fading out from there , the blue looks a bit patchy but its got vas on so its hard to tell but like merit said you can see its not perfect so you know what to improve on

I saw the tattoo yesterday (not healed fully yet) and the blue and red look nice and solid but the yellow looks shocking... I'm gonna need to touch it up.
Any advice for packing yellow?

yellow can be a pain in the ass , as can any pale colour i try to look for a nice even bleed , then i wipe down the area leave it minute while im doing the next bit then come back and run over it again if it needs it , also make sure the angle of your machine right and i pack forward , im always moving forward not backwards or side ways

tyler needs to outline better. im sure he can with practice. nail that outline, its like 3x3 i think you said. all the lines can be done meticulously, one handstroke.

i asked a tattooist "but what if i fuck _______ up" it was just an intricate pen outline and i was expected to line it perfect. he said "just don't fuck it up, do it right the very first time and you won't need to worry about that..." i did fuck up and it tok many tries but i won't forget his words: "just don't fuck it up" simple as that. don't fuck up the outline tyler, concentrate, visualize, and be confident and nail that shit. stop fucking up the outline. you can do it, otherwise i wouldn't say that to you.

as for posts, when we moved to here, i put up the very first tattoo. i didn't really want to, as it was not finished, and off to a bad start, but i felt we need to kick it off, and have something in the tattoo section, not just nothing. came out awesome in the end btw. same goes for artwork section, i put up some silly stuff, but i figured a post was better than nothing.

as of now, i won't be posting work, for the most part. i have my reasons.
