what water colour and paper are you using?
are you going from light to dark or dark to light?
by the looks of it your not letting 1 colour dry before you put another colour on top..
they do looked rushed...with wc i find you need to be patient

I'm using memory watercolour tubes and 180gsm watercolour paper.
What do you recommend I use?
I'm not really going in a certain order. What works best?
Yeah they were all a bit rushed, think I'll take your advice and wait for colours to dry properly before adding the next one.

i use dr ph martins & 300gsm paper mate
as for order you are supposed to go from light to dark with wc but i found it better goin dark to light like a tattoo

Thanks mate, will try going dark to light next time.
I'm gonna order some 300gsm paper but the dr Martin's seem a bit pricey, think I'll stick to cheapy paints for now to practice techniques and stuff.
