testing, testing,,Hi to all
Hey, just saying a 'how do' to all.
I'm really pleased to have found this place. I've been getting tattoos for the last 15 years and for the last few months now attempting to do my own. I truly love everything about it. Don't know why I waited so long to give it a go,. I've always been drawing, went to art school etc. tattooing just makes sense now. I've been doing all the usual: fruit and legs!
I look forward to picking your brains and trying to soak up all that knowledge from you lot - Cheers!

Cheers, all.
I hear yer, Buddy Boy. Once you take out work, eat, sleep, dealing with kid etc there's about time left to count my fingers and pass out. Slow progress!
But I have been having fun with my new microdial when I can. It's definitely a step-up from the crappy ebay job that gave up the ghost. Although, (and it's got to be something I'm doing wrong), but it doesn't seem to work so great with larger needle groupings (9 and up), seems I've got to wack the voltage up to 10 or so, but it doesn't seem to suit it. Am I off the mark thinking a cut-back liner like this not suited to 9rl and up?
*edit*sorry this question probably doesn't belong here.

Re: testing, testing,,Hi to all
it prob just needs tuning , bigger needles need more smack behind them
Re: testing, testing,,Hi to all
cheers, yea I think I'll try a bigger gap from the contact screw. It's maybe a bit fast for bigger needles. Also, most of the machines I've seen that say they're good for bigger needles have longer front springs too. I'll keep reading and messing with it!
