I see some blow outs and looks like the solid fill may heal patchy
The line that you can really see, the belly down the leg, looks neat

Thanks for the critique skulldaddy. Possibly some blow outs, I should have got a pic with just the outline before I started the fill but got a bit carried away with it. Just some info lined all of it with a 7rl some riding the tube and some of the tip of the needles. Packed with a 14rs using a Ronnie Starr DD and a 9rs using a RW ultimate warrior MK2 springer. Maybe should have use a 9rm to get the packing smoother??

it looks like you ave graved (gone too deep) in some areas..you might find it easier using a mag & then a small rs to get upto the lines if you can't get to them with the mag

Mags and round shades are personal choice. Try both. I like Mags but haven't used a round shader in years but I will probably try a 14 or 18 rs this weekend as I have a tribal tattoo to fill

color is nice and dark but
some parts look pitted to me,
is that where it has been overworked/chewed during packing?
will something like this be even once it heals?

Yeah, looks a bit heavy,,, try turning your machine down a bit and pressing firmer against the skin,, with a half decent stretch of course...

Re: And it not even the sabbath today
Thanks for the feedback fellas. I ran the Ronnie Starr DD at around 6.8v I think. On a post on the old forum I was advised to run faster so I guess I need to find that happy medium or sweet spot. Lined at around 4.7 and used the Springer at around 4.2 with the soft spring backed off half a turn.
I am thinking of using the Springer for lining with the hard spring backed off a 1/4 turn to see how it works compared to the ID Liner. Thinking being that set up that way it might run similar to a coil machine. More trial and error come.
